Visiting artist Candacy Taylor, author of COUNTER CULTURE: THE AMERICAN COFFEE SHOP WAITRESS will visit campus on October 3, 2013 at 3:00 in Briscoe 215.
Her talk will be about being an artist and she will examine the importance of creating a strong theoretical basis for the work. She will show the trials and tribulations of developing and producing her own projects and will talk about the critical role marketing and branding plays in reaching a wider audience.
There will be Q&A session which will allow students to ask specific questions about their work and their creative process.
